The Streaming Giant Casts Perfect Actor for Bon Clay in the Hit Series Third Season

The Secret Organization is geared up to play a huge role in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, even if the major clash won’t unfold until season 3, and a beloved, popular member has now been chosen.

The platform declared this week that the talented performer has joined the One Piece cast for the third season and will embody Bon Clay. Bon Clay can use their power to change into an perfect replica of any person they’ve laid a hand on with their dominant hand. The performer, who is identifies as non-binary and goes by they/them, will depict a version of that figure reinterpreted as gender non-binary, as opposed to as a drag performer, in the real-life adaptation, as in the source material and animated series.

The new cast member will work alongside multiple new cast members who will portray the organization to the screen, such as chief Mr. 0, portrayed by the well-known actor, Sophia Anne Caruso as a key member, and a familiar face, who also joins the lineup as King Nefertari Cobra of Alabasta.

Even though this character is a important part of Baroque Works, the persona won’t make their debut One Piece season 3. With the second season set to cover the Little Garden arc, this marks a significant shift in the placement of their first appearance, one that could indicate additional alterations to the plot development.

The actor’s combination of excellent comedic sense and profound feeling makes them a perfect fit for the role. Besides their recent voice performance in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they received high praise and multiple awards for creating and performing in the popular theatrical show Oh Mary!, emphasizing the adaptability they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s widely praised characters.

Netflix's live-action One Piece show is due to premiere for its season two on March 10th, 2026.
